2024 I was 12 days in Niger, visiting the Guerewol festival of the Fulbe nomades, Agadez, Zinder, Niamey and drove 3000 km through the sahelian zone. This year, there was a good rainfall. Sorghum and pearl millet grew excellent. Hunger will be not a problem of this year (but the price for farmers in selling food will be low). The military government has a strikte control of the country. The whole tour was done with policy excorte.
