Guru Geri in South Sudan

During my time abroad as a Sudan doctoral student in 1991, I was once in the area of Southern Sudan, which became independent in 2011: on the banks of the White Nile near Renk. I didn't realize that until 2015. So another country has been ticked off. I noticed there that it was very difficult for the farmers to come to the banks of the Nile to drink, because the farmers did not allow any passages between the fields. Such banal things can lead to war.
